Stephens Memorial Hospital Annual Fund 2022
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of people like you to help us provide the best possible care to our patients. Annual donors are essential to meet the ongoing needs of the hospital. Recently, annual donations have helped fund the purchase of much-needed medical equipment, including a new MRI machine and a breast tomosynthesis scanner; secured our partnership with the Maine Medical Center/Tufts Medical Student Program and provided funds to relocate and expand our cancer care program. This year, when you donate to our annual fund, you can nominate the program you wish to support:
- PACE paramedical renovations: Each year, PACE paramedic teams respond to more than 4,900 emergencies in our community and provide essential transportation services between health care facilities. Call volume has increased significantly over the past two years and this trend is expected to continue. Our trained paramedics and paramedics are ready to meet the expected increase in demand, but we need your help. The PACE Paramedic Building requires significant updates and renovations to accommodate HVAC needs, provide sleeping quarters and private bathrooms for our increased number of staff, and create adequate garage space to maintain and store ambulances.
- Well-being of the care team: Every day, the Stephens care team goes above and beyond for their patients. In these difficult times, they are doing everything to ensure the health and well-being of those they have the privilege of caring for, including your loved ones, neighbors, friends and perhaps even yourself. Directing your annual fundraising donation to Care Team Wellness will help fund wellness initiatives that support our Care Team.
Whether it’s for PACE or the well-being of the care team, your donation to Stephens is an investment in the health and well-being of your local community. When you donate to Stephens Memorial Hospital, you are helping to ensure that health care is available to all who need it, regardless of their ability to pay.
