Barco expands its portfolio with two new G-series projectors to enable enhanced creativity, from simple everyday needs to more advanced installations. The G62s are a new consistency choice enabling a broad Barco portfolio for the ProAV market with solutions for all budgets.
Improved and extended projection platform
With the introduction of the G60s in 2019, Barco has expanded its offering to a wider range of market segments. Single-chip laser projectors were designed to meet the needs of everyday projects without compromising on quality. The new G62s complement this existing platform with two brighter and improved projectors for even better results.
With their higher bandwidth and improved input support (HDMI2.0 and 3D SYNC), the new additions to the Barco portfolio are now compatible with 4K input sources and offer HD 3D stereo capabilities. Additionally, the G62s offer enhanced warping and blending capabilities built into the OSD, making them ideal for use in combination with other projectors in a multi-channel setup. Additionally, an improved interface enables user-friendly operation and efficient workflows.
Having all of this at a very competitive price is what makes the G60 and G62 an attractive package for all customers.
Designed to work in a wide range of applications
The G60 and G62 projectors are ideal for a compact installation. In addition to the compact format of the G projectors, it is also possible to work with the well-known G-series short-throw lenses. Also: in order to blend in with different environments, the G2 models will also be available in black and completely (!) white chassis.
Users can always count on all the proven benefits of Barco’s worldwide service and support program. With additional EssentialCare service options, customers can access an existing pool of interchangeable G-Series units with comparable brightness and life to reduce response and replacement time.
A choice of consistency
Since its launch in 2019, the G60 projectors have convinced customers with its value for money resulting in great references in the museum industry such as Infinity des Lumières in Dubai or the new Memory Lane Museum Complex in Russia. Part of Barco’s single-chip projection family, the G62s will offer customers the same reliable recipe of stable performance and expert guidance from Barco.
